Alysha Danyelle

“Give in to your uniqueness.”

The very thing you've been fighting not to be your whole life, is the very thing that is your genius.

Alysha Danyelle is a Los Angeles based Assistant Costume Designer and member of Motion Picture Costumers IATSE Local 705, with placement on both the Commercial and Television/Film rosters. She spent her early working years in retail as a visual merchandiser styling in-store and window displays with current and aspirational trends which greatly inspired customers’ purchases.

As a Costumer Alysha applies her working knowledge of these trends when shopping to pull special pieces that convey a lifestyle or reality for the characters she works on. Her background in fitting and manipulating garments on mannequins to convey movement translates greatly into her work on set as well, providing her with a unique eye for how things will move and an ability to make adjustments accordingly. As an Assistant Costume Designer, she works in tandem with the Costume Designer to brainstorm creative ideas for visual execution. This often includes relaying ideas to an illustrator, sourcing fabrics and working alongside manufacturers to execute the creative vision.

Alysha’s skillset includes everything from costume buying, working with actors on set, running the costume trailer and coordinating the department. She is passionate about maintaining a team-driven atmosphere that utilizes everyone's strengths for the overall success of the department. Additionally, Alysha has years of experience as a creative director and assistant manager which translate seamlessly into her current role as an Assistant Costume Designer where she partners daily with the designer to develop ideas, script breakdowns, specialty costume procurement and the delegating of tasks throughout the department.

Alysha is intuitive, detail oriented and resourceful. She uses her creative influence to tell a story with fashion that is captivating and inspiring! Her work catalogue includes several hit shows such as HBO’s Euphoria, Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, ABC’s Black-ish, Grown-ish, as well as live-tv production such as the 2025 MLB All-Star Game pregame performance with Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri and Kane Brown, the 2025 World Series game 1 opening ceremony performance with Pharrell and the Voices of Fire choir, Netflix’s Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party, Super Bowl LX Halftime show with Bad Bunny, and countless others.
